Danielle Barros, a Possibilitator from Brazil, who had never travelled outside of Brazil before, accepted the challenge to bring the 'good luck' glass eye back to its place of origing, Greece. In fact, the challenge was to place it on a foundation stone of the Parthenon in Athens. This is her selfie photo completing the mission!

Dear Team,

On the last day of the July 2023 Lab in São Paulo I made an agreement with ClintonCallahan that I would take a stone to the Parthenon in Greece. He proposed the challenge to anyone who wanted to travel more around the world and I accepted. After the Lab in São Paulo I went to the Heal From School Lab and the Possibilitator Skills Lab in Poland, and the Women's Lab in Portugal. I was in Scotland, Ireland, Spain, always carrying the stone with me.

And today I finally arrived in Athens, Greece. I could see the Parthenon from most of the city. I walked up the hill and left the stone at the Parthenon, fulfilling my agreement to go under the 'tourist blocking' rope. In fact I sat on the ground and when no one was watching I stretched under the rope and left the stone there.

I'm writing this to you in tears, because I'm no longer the same person who left Brazil with the stone in my hand. In these almost five months of traveling, cycles have come to an end in my life. I have been in a Liquid State for five months, without being certain, walking in the unknown, letting die what was already dead in my life, and experiencing a life that is frighteningly more alive.

I met wonderful people in the trainings I attended. I learned to speak English. I lived in amazing places.

At the end of this month I'm returning to Brazil. That does not mean I am going back to 'normal', because the one who left Brazil is no longer the same as now. I'll be in Brazil for the next few months... I don't know until when. I'm organizing the São Paulo Expand The Box training in December. This makes me very happy with the possibility of meeting new Edgeworkers, of building the bridge to the next culture together. This training was the beginning of a new life for me.
